Auto Maintenance FAQs

How often should I get my oil changed?
For a long time and sometimes still today, standard practice at many lube shops is to suggest oil changes every three months or 10,000 K.M. In order to know when the best time to get your oil changed is, check the owner’s manual of your specific model for manufacturer-recommended intervals.
Should I worry about servicing my leased vehicle?
To make sure your car is kept in top condition, you should get it serviced once every year at the very least (or when your car tells you to). Sticking to an annual service schedule will help you avoid any unexpected costly work.
Do I need to charge my battery after I jump-start my vehicle?
Once you jump start the car with the dead battery, you need to let the engine idle for around 30 minutes so that the battery can recharge. If you immediately shut off the engine after jump starting the vehicle, the battery will not recharge, and you may not be able to start the car when you decide to take your car out.
How do I know when I need new brakes?
Grinding or squealing noise. If you hear a grinding or squealing noise when you press the brake pedal, it may be because the brake pads are completely worn out.
